Why does BBK offer franchising?
After 3 years of testing with 6 stores, we have proven that our products meet market demand and our business model is viable. Therefore, we want to share this successful model with franchise partners so that we can focus more on optimizing our products, automated kitchens, operational models, and supply chains.
What is the total investment for a single BBK store?
For a new store, including equipment and decoration, and after deducting the shopping mall’s decoration subsidy, it is approximately AUD 450,000 to 600,000. However, for the first batch of franchisees, we will consider giving the decoration subsidy to the franchise partners, which can control the investment to between AUD 350,000 and 500,000.
How long does it take to become a BBK franchise partner?
It mainly depends on the site selection. Typically, opening a new store takes about 4 to 6 months from site selection to opening, with the site selection process usually taking 1 to 2 months. The timeline can vary based on the suitability of the location and the franchise requirements. After finalizing the store location, it usually takes an additional 3 to 4 months to finalize the franchise agreement and complete the renovations.
What kind of investment return can be expected from BBK?
Before officially becoming a franchise partner, we can assist franchise partner to set reasonable expectations for the BBK store. Throughout the operation, we will provide training and support to assist the franchise partner in reaching their expectation. However, we cannot predict or guarantee any specific returns for the franchise partner.
Does the franchisee need to be involved in the management and operation of the store? Can it be managed directly by the franchisor?
Yes, our franchisees are required to be personally involved in the management and operation of the store. BBK headquarters cannot provide proxy operations.
